The Board of John Paul Construction has announced the promotion of Mike McLoughlin to the Senior Leadership Team as Associate Director – Health, Safety and Sustainability.

Mike is a long-standing member of the John Paul Construction team having joined as a graduate engineer in 1997.

He worked in engineering and project management roles before taking on the role of Health and Safety Manager in 2010. Mike has been instrumental in championing the company’s safety culture and putting in place many of the processes, procedures and certifications that are used daily across the company as part of its safety management system.

In more recent times, he has been at the forefront in setting the sustainability agenda and putting in place the policies and processes to support this critical objective across the entire business.

Commenting on Mike’s appointment, Managing Director Liam Kenny said: “In elevating Mike to the position of Associate Director we acknowledge his contribution to the Health, Safety and Sustainability function and reinforce their fundamental importance to the business as we develop and expand. We wish Mike continued success.”
